Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients of varying acuity levels in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to emergencies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous ER or critical care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing practices and protocols
• Proficient in IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize care in high-stress situations
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
