Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care during EP and Cath lab procedures
• Assist with pacemaker insertions, ablations, Watchman, and cryoablation procedures
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and administer medications as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, RCIS, RTs, and CVTs
• Ensure safe and sterile environment during invasive procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations to cover emergency cases

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent EP/Cath lab experience
• Must have ACLS certification and EKG training
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced unit and work independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EP and Cath lab procedures and equipment (GE, ESI)
• Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and EKG interpretation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and efficiently
• Documentation skills in Meditech and MacLab systems
