Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab, assisting with complex cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and rhythms during EP studies, ablations, and device implantations
• Collaborate with cardiologists and technologists to ensure safe and efficient lab operations
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
• Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior Electrophysiology Lab experience is required
• Active RN license in New York (or compact state) - we'll help with verification
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are a must

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation and EP equipment
• Proficiency with Epic EHR for accurate charting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural area
