Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform comprehensive assessments and triage to prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changing conditions
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• Minimum 1 year of emergency room experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and 36 hours per week

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly
• Proficiency in electronic health records
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
