Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver optimal outcomes
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient conditions
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized emergency department

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-stress environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing assessment and intervention
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability
• Time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting
