Location: Coos Bay, Oregon

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: Night Shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, 72 hours per two week pay period. Possible weekends and on-call required.

Hours per Week: 60

Bill Rate: $45.00 - $71.00/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Apply the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice
Teach patients and significant others about their care
Document patient care in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Respond effectively to patient crisis and emergency situations

Qualifications

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oregon
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Recent emergency nurse experience
Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years
Preferred certifications: CEN, TNCC, AHA-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or ENA Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course

Education

Current RN licensure in Oregon

Knowledge & Skills

Effective communication and English language proficiency
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Computer literacy, including electronic medical record systems
Time management and prioritization skills
Interdisciplinary team collaboration
