Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week with optional overtime

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize care in a fast-paced ER environment
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat acute conditions
Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond swiftly to emergencies
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

Active Washington State RN license or multi-state license with NLC
Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training and Nursys verification
Team player with strong communication and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing triage and assessment
Advanced life support including ACLS and PALS
Trauma nursing care with TNCC certification
NIHSS for stroke assessment
Meditech EMR experience preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to changing patient needs
