Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiovascular procedures
• Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in a procedural environment
• Collaborate with physicians, providing continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring equipment is functioning properly and calibrated
• Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials for efficient workflow
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Continuously assess and document patient condition while in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Support quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License - required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) upon hire and maintained
• At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Must pass drug screening, color-blind test, and other health requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac catheterization lab procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with physicians and team
• Ability to assess patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes
• Knowledge of sterile technique and equipment preparation
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
