Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department
• Operate GE imaging equipment safely and efficiently to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Document patient information and procedures in the Meditech electronic health record
• Position patients and explain exams to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Collaborate with emergency department physicians and nurses to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized imaging environment

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• Florida DOH Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of combined CT and X-ray experience
• Emergency department or acute care experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of CT and X-ray imaging protocols
• Comfortable operating GE imaging equipment
• Proficient with Meditech documentation system
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Commitment to radiation safety and infection control practices
