Shift Type: Variable Day Shift, including weekends and on-call as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers to assist in diagnosis and treatment
  • Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers
  • Execute ultrasound guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis with radiology support
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-care for radiology procedures
  • Assist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements alongside radiology nursing
  • Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of hospital quality indicators

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent
  • Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure required
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of previous radiology experience (clinical internship may count)
  • Ability to demonstrate competency in advanced imaging within 6 months

Education

  • Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

  • Sound judgment and professional demeanor in a busy environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer applications and office equipment
  • Physical capability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended hours
