Radiology Technologist - Acute Care
Location: Bozeman, MT
Start Date: 07-24-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Variable Day Shift, including weekends and on-call as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers to assist in diagnosis and treatment
- Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers
- Execute ultrasound guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis with radiology support
- Educate patients on pre- and post-care for radiology procedures
- Assist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements alongside radiology nursing
- Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
- Support the implementation and monitoring of hospital quality indicators
Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent
- Montana Radiologic Technologist licensure required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 1 year of previous radiology experience (clinical internship may count)
- Ability to demonstrate competency in advanced imaging within 6 months
Education
- Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound judgment and professional demeanor in a busy environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in computer applications and office equipment
- Physical capability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended hours
