Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust positioning to capture optimal images for accurate diagnosis.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with facility policies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Active Louisiana state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of radiologic positioning, techniques, and equipment
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient-centered care
• Proficiency with electronic health records and imaging software
