Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to help patients regain function and independence
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and interventions to improve mobility and strength
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity requirements
- Adapt to a fast-paced skilled nursing environment while delivering compassionate care
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- 1-3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercise
- Patient evaluation and care planning skills
- Excellent documentation and time management abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet productivity standards in a fast-paced setting
