Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
Develop personalized plans of care using evidence-based practices and standardized assessments
Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care treatments
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments to achieve the best outcomes
Provide compassionate counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers
Collaborate with supervisors and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate documentation
Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students

Qualifications

1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
LTC or Rehab experience required
Active Missouri State PT License required
New grads welcome with Level II clinical experience
Strong commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and rehabilitation planning
Wound care and therapeutic interventions
Manual techniques and modalities
Documentation and regulatory compliance
Discharge planning and care coordination
