Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area throughout the shift
• Document patient records accurately and update treatment charts
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post‑procedure care
• Handle sterilization of orthodontic instruments according to protocol

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient‑service skills
• Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions
• Basic computer proficiency for charting

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and appliances
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Teamwork and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
