Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient assessments and treatment planning
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow
• Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene
• Record and update patient charts accurately
• Coordinate with the dental team to schedule appointments and manage inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Ability to handle orthodontic appliances and materials
• Basic patient care and comfort techniques
