Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist with patient assessments and treatment planning
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow
- Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene
- Record and update patient charts accurately
- Coordinate with the dental team to schedule appointments and manage inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Ability to handle orthodontic appliances and materials
- Basic patient care and comfort techniques
