Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub into the OR to hold the heart and help close the chest
• Assist in open heart, TAVR, and endovascular procedures
• Coordinate with OR techs and charge nurses to ensure smooth workflow
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Participate in a one-week orientation and ongoing education
• Float to general OR as needed to support the team
• Maintain patient safety and uphold high standards of care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cardiovascular OR settings
• Open heart and/or endovascular experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Strong scrubbing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment
