Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with patient procedures and chairside support
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments between patients
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑procedure care
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper stock levels

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Dental Assistant certification (DA or CDA) preferred
• Previous experience in a dental office environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
• Flexibility to work the scheduled shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with dental terminology and common procedures
• Proficiency with dental practice management software and charting
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control techniques
• Basic radiography knowledge and safety practices
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Customer service orientation and patient empathy
