Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup for braces and Invisalign procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment by properly cleaning and organizing dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Document patient records accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post‑treatment care specific to orthodontic appliances
• Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies and ensure timely restocking
• Coordinate appointment flow to keep the schedule running smoothly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Dental Assistant certification preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of orthodontic procedures, braces, and Invisalign systems
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and the dental team
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment
