Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after each appointment
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
• Support the dental team in a fast-paced pediatric environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Experience in pediatric dentistry or general practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and comfort
• Sterilization and infection control
• Dental software proficiency (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
• Clinical knowledge of dental procedures
• Team collaboration and problem solving
