Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and ensure comfort
• Assist orthodontist with braces, aligners, and other treatments
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Manage patient records and use Denticon software for scheduling and charting
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Dental assisting experience
• Proficiency with Denticon software preferred
• Must be able to work a per diem schedule
• Valid state dental assistant license or certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Attention to detail in sterilization and record-keeping
• Basic computer skills, including dental software
• Ability to work effectively in a team
