Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to maintain patients' oral health
• Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Screen patients for oral diseases and educate them on preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure sterilization of instruments
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent clinical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work as part of a dental care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs
• Understanding of oral health and disease prevention
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Time management and organizational skills
