Roles & Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse oximetry
• Administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation procedures
• Capture high-quality panoramic X-rays for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Assist the oral surgeon during wisdom tooth extractions and other surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the operatory and surgical instruments for each case
• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure comfort throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Experienced in taking vital signs and monitoring patient status
• Skilled in administering nitrous oxide and assisting with IV sedation
• Proficient in capturing panoramic X-rays
• Hands-on experience with wisdom tooth surgery and oral surgery procedures
• Dental assistant certification or relevant state licensure preferred

• Vital signs monitoring (BP, Pulse O2)
• Nitrous oxide administration and safety protocols
• IV sedation assistance
• Panoramic radiography techniques
• Surgical assisting and sterile technique
