Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and record patient dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Certified or licensed as a Dental Assistant in Maryland
• Previous orthodontic experience preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Proficient with dental software and digital X-rays
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor
