Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform MSK, neuro, and body MRI scans for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring high image quality and patient comfort.
- Start IVs and draw creatinine as part of the imaging workflow.
- Precept new staff and assist with training as needed.
- Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to cover imaging needs.
- Respond to on‑call duties every third week, providing timely support during evenings and weekends.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Philips and Siemens MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Document all studies accurately in Meditech and Synapse EMR systems.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ARRT Certified MRI Technologist (MR)
- Medical Radiologic Technologist license from the Texas Medical Board
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
- Proficiency with Philips or Siemens 1.5T MRI systems
- Experience with IV insertion and creatinine draw
Knowledge & Skills
- MRI physics and safety
- Philips and Siemens MRI equipment operation
- 1.5T scanner handling
- BLS emergency response
- Meditech and Synapse EMR usage
- PACS image management
- MSK, neuro, and body imaging protocols
- IV insertion techniques
- Creatinine draw procedures
