Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MSK, neuro, and body MRI scans for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring high image quality and patient comfort.
• Start IVs and draw creatinine as part of the imaging workflow.
• Precept new staff and assist with training as needed.
• Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to cover imaging needs.
• Respond to on‑call duties every third week, providing timely support during evenings and weekends.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Philips and Siemens MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Document all studies accurately in Meditech and Synapse EMR systems.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification (AHA)
• ARRT Certified MRI Technologist (MR)
• Medical Radiologic Technologist license from the Texas Medical Board
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Proficiency with Philips or Siemens 1.5T MRI systems
• Experience with IV insertion and creatinine draw
