Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality direct nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans
Observe and report changes in patient condition in a timely manner
Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and clear communication
Maintain a safe, organized environment and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads welcome to apply for per diem opportunities
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and adapt to different unit needs

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Solid fundamentals in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic wound care
Familiarity with electronic health records and clear clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in fast-paced situations
Collaborative teamwork and respectful communication with patients and staff
Attention to detail and commitment to safety and infection control practices
