Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Overnight, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift, overnight)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care tailored to each resident’s needs
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly to the care team
Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident comfort and dignity
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
Maintain clear, timely charting in the patient record and follow facility policies
Support a positive, resident-centered environment through respectful communication

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico licensure preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
At least some hands-on LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility background checks
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Vocational Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe charting practices
Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Experience with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with infection control and resident safety protocols
