Location: Bay City, Michigan

Start Date: 06-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, 9-11 days per month

Candidate Pay Rate: $1820 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert hospital call coverage at a Level 3 Trauma center
Handle in-hospital consults seeing 5-8 patients per 24-hour shift
Manage ED trauma cases with precision and care
Cover general surgery and transfer call to support seamless patient transitions
Perform essential procedures making a real difference in patient outcomes

Qualifications

Board Certified in General Surgery
Active Michigan license (no IMLC)
DEA certification
Recent NPDB self-query
Local drive-in candidates only - no flights
Ready to submit rates per facility structure

Knowledge & Skills

General Surgical Cases for adults and trauma
Central Line Insertion
Chest Tube Insertion
Abdominal procedures
Vascular Access Devices
Cholecystectomy
