Interventional Radiology Technologist - Travel
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; every 7th weekend and one night of secondary call per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and circulate duties for a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including neurointerventional cases
- Assist with procedures such as dialysis access, arteriograms, embolizations, TIPS, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including GE single-plane and Philips biplane systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and technologists to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all hospital policies and safety standards
Qualifications
- Must have previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
- Must have previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Tech
- Flexible, adaptable, and a great team player
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in using GE and Philips imaging equipment
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR (Radnet) system
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
