Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; every 7th weekend and one night of secondary call per week

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulate duties for a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including neurointerventional cases
• Assist with procedures such as dialysis access, arteriograms, embolizations, TIPS, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including GE single-plane and Philips biplane systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and technologists to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications

• Must have previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
• Must have previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Tech
• Flexible, adaptable, and a great team player

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in using GE and Philips imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR (Radnet) system
• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and protocols
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
