Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to elderly residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and hydration
• Engage residents in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean and organized environment

Qualifications

• Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a love for helping others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of elder care best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Excellent observational skills
