Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and scaling to remove plaque and tartar
• Examine patients' oral health and document findings
• Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Active dental hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in patient assessment and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
