Shift Type: Days not specified, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for older adults
Support mobility and safe transfers while promoting resident independence
Monitor and record vital signs, behaviors, and changes in condition accurately
Assist with meal service and feeding, following care plans and dietary needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Communicate promptly and professionally with nurses, families, and the care team
Document care and observations clearly in resident records

Qualifications

GNA certification or state nursing assistant certification (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on facility)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Comfort working with geriatric populations and assisting with ADLs
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved GNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and respectful, person-centered approaches
Skill in basic clinical tasks: taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and mobility support
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Clear documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
Good teamwork, time management, and observation skills
