Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene routines
• Capture high-quality dental x-rays with precision
• Apply preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants
• Partner closely with the dentist to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain meticulous patient records and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical experience in dental hygiene
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental anatomy, radiography, and hygiene techniques
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols
• Ability to educate and motivate patients effectively
