Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to patients
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments
• Take and process dental x-rays with attention to safety and accuracy
• Screen patients for oral diseases and educate them on proper hygiene practices
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
• Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong understanding of dental instruments and procedures
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different dental environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical dental hygiene proficiency
• Radiography and x-ray safety
• Infection control and OSHA standards
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Electronic health record documentation
