Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and document findings accurately
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care
- Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain sterilization and infection‑control standards for all instruments
- Manage patient records and update dental charts using electronic software
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- High school diploma or GED; associate degree in dental hygiene preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with dental charting and practice management software
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
- Skilled in using ultrasonic scalers, prophylaxis angles, and polishing tools
- Understanding of radiography basics and ability to take intraoral X‑rays
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
