Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas for each patient
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Provide comfort and reassurance to young patients before, during, and after treatment
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work during evening hours as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
