Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Operate CT equipment, adjusting parameters for optimal image quality
• Monitor patients during scans, watching for adverse reactions to contrast media
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Assist radiologists with advanced imaging procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• State licensure as a radiologic technologist in Illinois (or compact state) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging protocols and anatomy
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose optimization
• Experience with PACS and electronic medical records
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform quality control
