Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Operate CT equipment and follow established scanning protocols to produce diagnostic images
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper preparation and positioning for each exam
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes in condition with professionalism
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and infection control standards at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation, image archiving, and electronic records
• Participate in Trinity skills checklist and specialty competency testing to maintain excellence

Qualifications

• Current CT Technologist certification/license as required by state practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Ability to successfully complete Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Successful license/certificate verification, background checks, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
• Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test)
• Comfortable working weekend night shifts (5:30 PM - 6:00 AM)

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or CT program preferred
• Additional CT-specific training or on-the-job CT experience is highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging principles and cross-sectional anatomy
• Skill in patient positioning, protocol selection, and image quality optimization
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Comfortable with patient assessment and basic emergency response until further help arrives
• Familiarity with competency testing processes and electronic image/documentation systems
