Certified Surgical Technologist - Trauma/Neuro/Ortho
Location: Boise, Idaho
Start Date: 02-08-2026
End Date: 10-31-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM with on-call requirements on weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during trauma, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile instruments and supplies are available
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a safe environment
- Monitor patient status and assist with positioning and draping
- Document surgical procedures and maintain inventory of instruments
Qualifications
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA or NCCT
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trauma, neuro, and ortho surgery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Strong understanding of trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
