Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during trauma, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile instruments and supplies are available
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a safe environment
• Monitor patient status and assist with positioning and draping
• Document surgical procedures and maintain inventory of instruments

Qualifications

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA or NCCT
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in trauma, neuro, and ortho surgery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong understanding of trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
