Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Weekday and weekend on call
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures, ensuring a sterile environment
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocols
- Assist with patient positioning and draping before surgery
- Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retention
Qualifications
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA
- BLS certification required
- Experience in a hospital OR setting preferred
- Ability to take on-call shifts, including weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic technique and sterile processing
- Familiarity with a wide range of surgical instruments and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
