Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
• Document care provided and report observations to the charge nurse

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Must be comfortable working overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Compassionate, reliable, and attentive to residents' needs
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident privacy rights
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
