Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Florence, AL
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (overnight)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Support safe and comfortable transfers and mobility for residents
- Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Follow infection prevention and safety procedures to maintain a clean environment
- Assist in creating a warm, respectful, and dignified experience for every resident
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-required or eligible)
- Current basic CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable working overnight hours and reliable for scheduled shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a genuine desire to care for others
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience or training in resident personal care and ADLs
- Familiarity with basic vital signs and reporting clinical changes
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
