Location: Florence, AL

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Support safe and comfortable transfers and mobility for residents
Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
Follow infection prevention and safety procedures to maintain a clean environment
Assist in creating a warm, respectful, and dignified experience for every resident

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-required or eligible)
Current basic CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable working overnight hours and reliable for scheduled shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a genuine desire to care for others
Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience or training in resident personal care and ADLs
Familiarity with basic vital signs and reporting clinical changes
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
