Location: Florence, AL
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility safely and respectfully
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient interactions
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality care
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Prior experience as a CNA is preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
- Skill in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
- Comfortable with documentation and charting best practices
- Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
- Compassion, patience, and strong teamwork skills
