Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility support to maintain resident comfort and function
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team in a timely manner
• Document care provided and resident responses accurately
• Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and facility onboarding requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption required
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care techniques
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable approach
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers
• Basic computer skills for accurate documentation
• Team player with a positive attitude
