Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Shift 1 (Day), 6:00 AM - 2:15 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
- Document patient care and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or present a documented religious/medical exemption
- Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
