Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
  • Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
  • Document patient care and report changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
  • Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or present a documented religious/medical exemption
  • Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful care

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
