Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to residents in daily activities
• Assist with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support residents with personal hygiene, feeding, and grooming
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold infection control practices
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalized, dignified care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current state or federal ID for facility badging
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to work per diem/as-needed shifts
• Compassion and dedication to resident care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in changing situations
• Teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting
