Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and hydration, and document intake/output
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver high-quality care
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote dignity and respect

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• A passion for helping others and making a difference

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Skill in using vital signs equipment and documenting accurately
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
