Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare patients for treatment, making them feel comfortable and informed
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions with precision
• Sterilize and organize instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or similar certification preferred
• Active X-ray license in Maryland, or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in orthodontics is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic learners
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care
• Ability to work with both children and adults in a friendly manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and orthodontic procedures
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
