Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 13-week contract, guaranteed 36 hours per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Help with mobility and transfers to maintain independence
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in the state of Maine
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- At least 6 months of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Understanding of infection control practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist with transfers
