Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift; schedule varies)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
Monitor residents and accurately report changes in condition to nursing staff
Take and document vital signs and contribute to resident care plans
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and team members
Support team goals by arriving prepared, staying organized, and pitching in where needed

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico preferred or eligible)
Comfort working night shifts and a per diem schedule
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care basics
Infection control and safety best practices
Accurate and timely documentation skills
Ability to observe, assess, and report resident changes
Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced care setting
Respectful, patient-centered communication with residents and families
