Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC, Night shift

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Accurately document care, observations, and vital signs in the patient record
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent care
Support patient dignity and independence while following facility policies

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Valid CNA credentials per state requirements (New Mexico) or ability to obtain prior to start
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
Comfort working overnight hours and adapting to per diem schedules
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks, immunization requirements, and drug screening

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs assessment and documentation
Infection control and safety best practices
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during shifts
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
